Wowee!! Firstly congratulations to Double Vision Sdn Bhd and Viu Malaysia! This victory definitely belongs to a whole lot of people but it has made me feel so great today! Here’s why this is a piece of my joy:
Last year super producer Min flew me to New York (chehhhwahh) while Douglas Lim was performing so that we could start laying the foundation for what is now BEST COMEDY PROGRAMME! (I’ve always been nominated, never won!)
When we came home, the Blackpink of Malaysia (read: MACC) assembled (Phoon Chi Ho Comedy & Dr Jason Leong Comedy) and super crunched this one out before we went on our big goodbye tour. It was really stressful for all of us but we worked together like never before because *redacted* and *redacted* and we freaking made it werk. (I miss you, MACC)
Because of #KopitiamDoubleShot I also got to meet @imrinasution who became a great friend who then went on direct post for the M.A.C.C. Series. I also got to berkenalan with the stellar cast members! The character Seleb was my one of my favourite to write for and I’m just so happy it meant something! Congratulations Melissa Campbell and thank you for bringing her to life!
